Kill Count: 2
Made it! This final week was a hard one. Had flashbacks to when I killed (sent home) Elder Lougee. You start to see the trunkiness in their eyes. And the days grow long and slow. It was an ok week though. We still got some good lessons in, and taught some cool people.
Earlier this week I was able to go on splits with some members. I went with this awesome member named Ja-Jack, whose preparing for a mission. We went to this place called Harmony Homes and started knocking doors. Three houses in a row let us in and listened to our message. It was super cool. One gave us some good food. We also ran out of Book of Mormons really fast. It was a cool change of pace from the norm. Just to be able to go to house to house, and testify of Christ. And what amazing joy just comes from that. Just letting them know Christ loves them. It was a good splits though. And Ja-Jack is a super cool guy. excited to work with him again.

Besides that, most of this week has been going around telling people we know good-bye, and telling them that yes, again another Elder is leaving. We've had a ton of Dinner Appointments this week. I think I've put on a couple of pounds. My mirror confirms my theory. But it's ok because all of the food was delicious. We also for District Council had a last Testimony meeting with the Zone. The people leaving gave some short but powerful testimonies. And of course afterwards, more food!
Yesterday (Sunday) was super cool. It was the last Sunday of Elder De Jesus, and he gave a good testimony. He talked about coming unto Christ, a theme that has echoed throughout my mission. And 2 Nephi 31:19-20. It was a really good testimony. And from that testimony, I feel that I may have exercised some hard judgment on him. We may have had a really, really rough beginning, but we left as Brothers.
I also yesterday received the news I will be training, which is super exciting! I'm a little worried because I feel like I am still in training, but excited nevertheless. We'll find out though who he is on Wednesday. Should be fun.
Now for a cliche reminder: Read your Book of Mormon. If you have read it, read it again. I have only made it as far as I have because of that book. Follow it's invitation: Moroni 10:32 and don't stop following it.
All is Well
