Execute Order 66
Well, this week was an interesting one for sure. I like to make the analogy that missionaries are a lot like Jedi. We have the force(the spirit), a light saber(The Book of Mormon), and a desire to fight all appearances of evil. Well with us being Jedi, the week was Order 66. You know the part where your fighting off all the droids(drunks and other assorted people), and then you get gunned down out of the blue by clone troopers(members and STL's). Yeah that happened, two front battle not fun. But what can you do?
So this week was a little rough as far as work goes. We still did our best, and worked through rain and heat, but we still got oofed. Our PBD's also backed out because her husband doesn't want her baptized. So that also was really rough. We've had some progression with some of our other people though, and found some really cool people, which has been awesome. Hopefully, we'll help them progress this next week.
We did have exchanges this week with the Zone Leaders, which was awesome because were all super tight. Elder Anderson and Elder Denoy are awesome, and we got a ton of work done in our area, which was awesome. We also ate a ton of food at our house, and talked about older missionaries that are home now. Some have some amazing character traits.
That's all for this week, got some battle scars, but looking forward to a New Hope. We also have Zone Conference this next week, so we'll see how it goes. Till next week!
All is Well
Elder Bills
There was not a note to go with these photos. Isaac said the week was rough as far as people not keeping commitments, etc., but that he and Elder Fa'aloto are having a blast. He is happy and trying his best to do the Lord's work. His 19th birthday is Aug 7. He said the Filipinos can't believe he's only 18. They think that big people should be older, I guess.
