Elder, Don't Die!

Not a whole ton of things happened this week. But I did turn 19! So I guess I'm an adult now, which is crazy. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! It was the same day that we had our zone conference, so it was fun to be able to see all the other missionaries in the mission.

Also side note: President Kirk is awesome! What a spiritual guy, we are very lucky to have him here in the Naga mission. So the zone conference was awesome with a focus on loving your companion, and loving people instead of numbers. Received a lot of wisdom.

Elder Fa'aloto got really sick this week. He woke up this on Thursday, couldn't stay awake and then almost passed out during proselyting. We came home and he had an almost 103 degree fever. I texted Sister Kirk who told me, "don't let him die." So I've been playing nurse for the past 4 days, which was way funner as kid, when the stakes weren't high. He's feeling better now, and is slowly recovering but we should be able to work later this evening. But between this and zone conference, we haven't been able to work much this week. So there isn't much to report there.

Well we'll see what we can do this next week, hopefully we can get some recovery going, cause we really need to go and start working again. And I apologize now, there isn't many pictures this week, because we didn't do a whole ton. But that's it till next week!

Today marks MONTH 11!

We think Isaac is ready to be transferred. He's been in the Iriga City area since day one of being in the Naga Mission. His first area was in the country (San Ramon, rural suburb of Iriga) and the second area has been in Iriga proper. He's ready for a change. This week was slow, he said. He explained why above.

He said he had a nice birthday. Sister Kirk made each missionary a personal cake to celebrate.

He hopes he'll be transferred. His companion has served in all the zones and says the Iriga Zone is by far the hardest one. Not sure why Isaac's been given this "gift" of having hard areas. He seems positive, though, and loves serving with Elder Fa'aloto. These past two transfers have been a turnaround for Isaac.
