What Happened in Gethsemane?
That was a question asked to one of our interested people. Turns out not a whole ton of people really know about the atonement or the what happened in the Garden of Gethsemane. So we've had some really cool experiences where we were able to testify about the Atonement of Christ, and how HE LIVES! Cool experience to say the least.
We had exchanges this week, I was with my fearless ZL, Elder Panauyan, again. Learned a lot from him, and it's always fun to work in another area and see people there. It's also fun to chill at their house because they have a kabahay (roommates).
We also set a baptismal date for the Advincula family. They've fixed a lot of their issues, and are now set on getting baptized. So that's exciting, we've been working with them for a while, so it's great to see them progressing again. We also just had a successful interview with our PBD Bro. Rudy, so he should be getting baptized this next Sunday. So that's exciting as well! Our recent convert Bro. Joshua will be baptizing him which will be really cool to see. Lot of progress!
We've also just been trying to find new people, because now our teaching pool is about to get really tiny. So we've been working on that, and approaching people using the Book of Mormon. That's been really fun to experiment with, although Elder Lougee is way better at it than me. That's it for this week though. Till next time!
All is Well
Elder Bills
1. The fearless Elder Lougee (with a cobra) 2. Me with the same Cobra 3. The cozy apartment (my parents wanted pictures) Sorry that's all I got, I keep forgetting to take pictures.
Isaac is a different missionary this week. He's been positive despite difficulty, but this week, we could tell his whole world has changed and he is one HAPPY and POSITIVE missionary. They are working hard and being super blessed for their efforts. We are so grateful for his new companion and how eager they both are to work hard!
Many prayers have been answered. His and ours.
