May the 4th Be With You!

I don't care how far away I am from home. Star Wars day will always be my favorite holiday. I didn't do much with it, because not many people over here know what Star Wars is. That's alright though. That day is also important because it's the day I got my mission call. It's crazy that happened a year ago. It basically happened yesterday.

Our two RC's received the Aaronic priesthood Yesterday! It was really cool experience. We gave them some white shirts and ties, and it was really cool to see them dressed up in it. Next step hopefully is a mission!
Not much else happened this week. We didn't have a ton of people come to church Yesterday, That happens some weeks though. Besides that though, just doing the work.
All is Well
Elder Bills
Sorry no pictures this week, I totally forgot to get some. Hopefully I'll have some next week thought.
NOTE FROM SHAWN:
Isaac has decided to call the first Monday of each month, so that was yesterday (our Sunday night). He is doing well. He is learning how to deal with cultural differences within a companionship, but is also learning that other American missionaries have had similar "life lessons" in learning not only how to be with a companion 24/7, but to also be a with a companion whose culture is much different than Western culture.
He's happy, though, and really likes his new area in Iriga. They've had success in bringing a few people to baptism. He likes having more accessibility to modern conveniences that he didn't have in San Ramon.
We had a nice conversation with him last night. He hits his 8-month mark next Sunday (May 12). 1/3 of the way through. His Tagalog is coming along and he's more fluent than he gives himself credit.  He's grown up a lot. He has matured and I couldn't stop smiling as he talked about how much he loves the Filipino people and how he's come to learn that the Restored gospel of Jesus Christ is real and is true. He's had some hard lessons, but has learned what real prayer is. People told us that Isaac would change and soften, but a year ago, we weren't so sure. Last night's phone call was a huge blessing for us to see that he's learning to lean into the difficulty and put his trust in the Savior.
Thanks to everyone for your support of our boy.  He's really doing super.
