Stake!

Well we received the news this week that Iriga District received the approval from President Nelson to become a Stake! This has been the goal of Iriga District for a very long while. And now it's finally here! One more Stake here and we'll be qualified to have a temple built here! The progress is awesome! So there will be more updates on that in the following weeks. 

We have some new PBD's: an awesome family, way out in the middle of nowhere. They came as a referral from the other pair of sisters in our branch. I'm not entirely sure how they found them, but just glad they did. They've come to church though and accepted the invitation to be baptized! 

 

We also had exchanges this week with the Zone Leaders this week, which was good as always. Sobrang astig yung Zone Leaders namin. I was with Elder Panuyauan again, the man who never stops. We talked to a ton of people. 

 

We also baptized Bro. Tibor (the son of the Tatay we baptized a couple weeks ago) and his cousin Bro. Joshua this week. It was a great experience, especially to confirm them on Sunday. We're now working on helping them prepare to receive the priesthood, and hopefully later a mission!
