Elder Bills! That's An Investigator!
Well, we had 3
Investigators attend church this week, which blew me away, I was looking
over and sacrament meeting and thought I was losing my mind. So yeah,
that was an amazing, But of course it happened on the last Sunday Elder
Richards was here.
Speaking of which, tomorrow is transfers, and since my training is over, Elder Richards is leaving. Which is sad because we've had some good moments together, and it's weird that he's going to be gone. He was a good trainer and a good friend. It's going to be weird to have a new companion, also I'm going to have to lead the area which is gonna be scary, but I'll make it (probably after much prayers).
We also sent one the first missionary from San Ramon off Yesterday. Her name is Sister Desare, and she's going to the Iloilo Mission, which is super exciting. And her farewell was certainly a highlight of the week.
So a not a whole lot happened this week, but I'll certainly have a lot to talk about next week, so I'll have more to report then.
All is Well Elder Bills
1. Me graduating training, not sure why were orange, my camera's settings were out of wack. 2. Me and Elder Richards chilling on the way to Ninyo Jesus(a barangy 6 miles up a mountain). 3. Some Jove kids(an astig member family) 4. A monkey fruit.
Some photos that Elder Richards sent to Sadie:
Some from the email he sent to Bekah and me:
As you saw, we finally had some investigators come to church which is awesome! Finally after working our tails off, we finally have some progress in our area. It's been exhausting though, I'm so tired. I also have a ton changes tomorrow. A new companion, and I have to lead the area, so there we'll have to see how all of that goes.
So i'm doing great, and still giving it everything I've got(even
though i'm dead tired). I'll tell you how next week goes, and who my new
companion is.

What a amazing spiritual week this has been. We have couple of
investigators full on track for baptism, and many potential and new
people. I also finished the Book of Mormon. What a miraculous and truly
inspiring book. I can't believe anybody could read
it and not believe it. It's shame that my young Immature self decided
to not read it until now(I've "completed" it before, but that was with a
ton of skimming, and not truly reading it). I've also been reading the
teaching of President Hinckley, and the Doctrine
an Covenants. It's interesting to see the revelations on paper talked
about in the Saints book(it was 30 pesos at manila, I couldn't resist),
It makes everything make so much more sense. And Gordon B. Hinckly what a
miraculous man, and his understanding of
the simple truths of the gospel, it's been blowing me away. What a
beautiful, and yet simple gospel we have a knowledge of, and how
privileged we are to have it.
I'm so proud of Silas! That was so awesome to see him passing the
Sacrament, He's growing up so fast! It's so crazy. I'm glad to hear all
the kids are doing well to, sounds like there all doing pretty great.
