Zone Conference

So this week we had our first Zone Conference which was really cool. We did some awesome workshops and got to hear from our President and Sister Zapanta. Our Zone is actually pretty small for the amount of missionaries it has in it. They're all super cool though, and it was fun to meet them all.

I'm going to include a snippet I sent to my parents about some Investigators we have, because I feel like I should share about that:

So right now we have a couple people were teaching, I'll get pictures later because i always forget to get pictures with them. The first is the Calibara family which is a refferal we got from a member, there awesome and the Nanay is a teacher so she can mostly understand English which helps us both a lot. The Tatay though in one night read all the way to Jacob in the Book of Mormon which is insane and like never happens. But it was still like one of the coolest things so were going to follow them up on that later. The next is the Chasow's which is our Set Batismal date's but there struggling to make it church so we have to keep pushing the date back, but  we'll just have to see how it goes for that. The Mom is a inactive member, and were trying to get the kid's going. The next is the Pajhte Family which is this one Nanay with like 8 Kids. She's a convert that was inactive but she's actually been coming to church recently again, which is awesome. Were teaching her kids and trying to get them to come to church. The last family I'll talk about it the Amata Family. The've been taught all the lessons but for some reason don't know if they want to be baptized, or fully commit to the church, which is frustrating but, were trying our best to pray and read about it and find that spirit that comes with conversion.

It's a little condensed but it sums up the main Investigators we have. Most of them are progressing but some have just one little thing holding them back.

Besides that not much has happned this week, we got some bikes two days ago, which is useful because it allow us to get to some areas a little faster(one's that can be accessed by road). Though I will admit i've already biffed it a couple of times, I havn't touched a bike in years.

Though one cool thing with the language is i'm actually staring to understand it a little now. MY companion was talking with Tatay Motor(our guy who drives us around on his motorcycle everywhere) and I was Like woah! I understood that conversation. So there's some little cool moments like that.

Besides that, I'm still hanging in there, and trying to do my best. I have definitely had some moments where I've struggled, but I know I'm supposed to be here, and am grateful for it everyday.
