We're in the Philippines!
Kamusta! I made it.
I'm finally in the Philippines after a long 15-hour plane ride that was probably the longest thing I've ever had to endure. It was cramped, and the seats were tiny. We did before we left got to stop in LAX which actually was one of the coolest things. It was huge and it was loud, and you got to meet and see so many different people. But enough about the plane rides and airports, let's talk about the Philippines!
First off, it's hot and it's humid, but honestly it's not as bad as i thought it would be. It reminded me alot of Arkansas during the summer, although, the mission president warned us, that this is probably the coolest it will ever be. Traffic here is absoultly ridiculous. On the way to the Manila MTC I almost saw like 20 people die. It's a big free for all, and nobody knows what a lane is. Or a speed limit. It was honestly crazy and all of us were freaking out.
The Manila MTC is actually really cool, it's smaller and has a lot less people. We have some really nice rooms though, with our own shower and bathroom. Also the food here is pretty good too. It's all Philipino food, which has been an experience. Some food is amazing and other food is questionable. Speaking of food though, me and mga Kasama went to the market and ate a bunch of weird fruit. We got Dragon Fruit, Papaya, Guapple, and some other fruit that looked like a giant pickle. Most of it was really good, others were questionable. Either way it was fun to try all of them.
It's also kind of hard because a lot of people speak Tagalog here, and listening to native speakers kind of freaks me out because I have no idea what there saying.
Another interesting change was now I'm now in a trio companionship, which is interesting to say the least. My mga Kasama (mga makes things plural in Tagalog) are Elder Bandoli and Elder Strong. I forgot to snap a picture with them so I'll have to get that later, but it's an intersting trio to deal with. We get along well thought, but it's difficult when you have to follow and adjust to the needs of two other people.
We also got to the Manila temple, which is absolutely bueatiful. It's a really small temple but, it's grounds and the inside are stunning. Also the people are really nice and love to ask if you like bread.
They keep asking me if I eat bread all the time because they think Americans just always eat bread.
They also call me malaki (which means big) which makes me feel happy.
Overall I've only been here two days, and it's already been insane, and I can't wait to experience more of what the Philippines has to offer. I'm still recovering from jet-lag, but besides that everything else is going pretty good. I inform you guys more of what happens in a little bit.

Below are some pictures I managed to get. First one is a sunset (the picture doesn't do it justice). 2. A McDonalds that was spotted (it's a rich person restaurant in the Philippines). 3. The Tricycles they drive around. 4. A Jeppnie (They cram like 20 people in those things) 5. A mini Tree (they only get that big, but it's still technically a tree). 6. Filipino coins 7. The Temple 8. And another pretty plant.

It's so good to see that you made it in one piece!! 15 hours on a plane - :( Sounds rough. I've heard Rob talk about Jeepnies - it's good to see a picture! Sounds like you are adjusting and the people are good to you. Thanks for the update, Malaki! :)
