One More MTC Week

Kamusta!
One more week and then i'll be out into the field, which is crazy to think about, because I am so unprepared, and can't speak Tagalog. But this is the last P-day I have before everything changes again. I'm excited, yet anxious, but I know I can do it through the lord. So my next email, will be from Naga! So there's that to look forward to.

This week has been crazy, the language is getting better, and i'm starting to understand native speakers just a bit better. We're doing TRC's again with our two new teachers, which is really cool, though it's one hundred percent in Tagalog, which is difficult but we manage. Tomorrow though, we go out and go on splits with some missionaries out in the field, which will be a cool experience(though probably a humbling one).

Everything is well here in the Manila MTC, though it's a struggle to be in a trio. A little more about my companions though, We have Elder Bandoli, he's from Bakersfield, California. He's a wack guy, and starts every sentence with yo, and ends with, "my guy!" My other Companion is Elder Strong, he's from Dallas, Texas, and is really chill. We all have very different personalities and have different ways of doing things, so we struggle sometimes. We usually get along well though.

The food here in the MTC is amazing, though most of the time you have no idea what it is. They put of plate of food in front of you, you say, "ano?", they something weird in Tagalog, and you shake your head up and down and say "opo." nine out of ten times though it's usually really good. Even if I have no idea what it is. Except here they eat the enitre fish, which personally I was not about going ham on a fish head, but I did it anyway. Also, the rooms here are really nice, each room has it's own shower and bathroom, which is needed because the food gets ya, and you sweat just by sitting down.

Overall, things are good, and i'm exited to finally go out and serve the lord. Were told everyday it will be difficult in the field, but that in the end it will be worth it. I believe whole hardly in that.
All is Well
