Counting down to the Philippines: 10 days to go
(Isaac flies out on October 15th)
One week left, and them I'm off to the Manila MTC, where I will be surrounded by people who can't speak English (which of course will be fine). Though, I will admit, it will be nice to get a change of scenery.

Tagalog is coming along, I'm making progress, and everyday it seems a little less impossible. I still can't speak to completely fluent people but, you know ehh, what can you do? We're doing grammar now so we can now start to form our own sentences.
Besides that not much is really happening. Everyday is just the same: get up, study, go to class. So, life's not bad. I am hyped for General Conference though, it's gonna be amazing and so many things are going to change. I miss y'all!
Some cool things that happened:
One of my old friends from Arkansas, Caleb Schwartz, came in on Wednesday. I haven't seen this guy in like two years, so I ran up to him and just gave him this huge bear hug, and was just like: "How you doing?" This kid looks me up and down and says, "Dang, you slimmed down" and then just left. So I just akwardly stood there and then went back to my Kasama.
And for those who know them I ran into my old friends: Graham Nakaya and Preston Hooker.
There's also this cat that keeps wandering around campus, and everyone freaks out about it. I'll have to send a pic if I get one.
All is Well

P.S. Sorry about pictures. My camera is being funky, and besides, nothing super exiting happens anyway. But rest assured, when I get to the Philippines, the pictures will start coming in.
