Two down; two to go
Elder Isaac Bills from the MTC |
Well we're now on week three. And honestly me and my Kasama have just fallen into this routine now, which isn't bad, but it just means nothing new really happens, though we did have couple interesting things happen this week. But we'll get to that later.
Tagalog is hard, like really hard. This past week me and my Kasama already started to teach proxy investigators, which is extremely difficult with a limited vocabulary. Half of the time, they say a bunch of stuff, and we just look at them and say Opo(yes). The demands are high, the time is limited, but were getting there. I also found out i'll be going to the Philippines sooner than expected. I'll be shipping out to the Manila MTC on October 15th and will be there for 12 days. So I have about two more week's left here before I head out.
Me and my roommates started an acapella group. We found out Elder Neilson used to competitively beat box, so naturally the four of us starting jamming to songs. It's attracted quite a bit of attention in our dorm hall. I'll have to send you guys a video, but my camera's acting kind of funny. Besides that though, there's not much else to tell, everyday is kinda the same a this point.
I will leave you with this. Me an my Kasama both we're struggling with the language, so we we're getting frustrated, and our teacher told us, "Elders, All is Well."
